About
A second act for a family practice, and a first call for newsrooms
Dr. Danny Del Campo is a board certified dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He owns and leads Chicago Skin Clinic in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood of Chicago, the same practice his father founded in 1981. Many of his patients are the children and grandchildren of the patients his father first treated.
He studied music and biology at the University of Chicago, earned his medical degree at Rush Medical College, and served as chief resident in dermatology at New York Medical College. Today he is on staff at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Resurrection Medical Center and cares for the full range of medical and cosmetic dermatology, with particular attention to conditions that shape daily life, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, and chronic itch. He sees patients in English and Spanish.
Beyond the clinic, he builds for patients as an entrepreneur. He is the founder of DermPaper, patient education software in multiple languages, and the founder and CEO of Los Doctores Cubanos, a dermatologist created skincare line that gives back to the Hispanic community.
Producers and journalists know him as a clear, warm communicator who can translate complex science for a general audience. He is media trained and available on short notice for interviews, live segments, and expert commentary, in English or Spanish.
